About Chris Witkowski

            The 2011 Sequim Lavender Festival has chosen the oil painting "Mona" by west coast artist and illustrator Chris Witkowski as the official festival artwork. 

        The Festival will showcase the art on the festival's posters, t-shirts, advertising, and other promotional materials. 

        Ms. Witkowski has created numerous paintings and illustrations with a focus on food and farm imagery.  She is inspired by the abundant natural beauty of the western landscape along with her love of food and cooking. She has created visual celebrations of farmers markets, local produce and seafood in the Northwest and California and evocative new artwork for the wine industry.  Her fine art has been featured in galleries in the Pacific Northwest and California.
