Become a Lavender Bud! Your support enriches every area of our annual event and allows us to maintain high standards.  Our goal is to establish long term relationships with our sponsor partners by providing valuable promotional benefits and community involvement through a wide variety of venues.

For dedication and hard work, Senator Hargrove and the Washington State Senate,  "commend and support the Sequim Lavender Festival and the Sequim Lavender Growers Association." Senate Resolution 8681

The Sequim Lavender Festival® part of the Sequim Lavender weekend celebrates its 17th year in the heart of Sequim and in the surrounding Dungeness Valley, during the July 19-21, 2013 weekend.  Solely produced and managed by the member-growers of the Sequim Lavender Growers Association™, the Lavender Festival will expand its production to include activities and regional attractions for the modern family and multi-aged visitors.

The growers most responsible for the success and heritage of the festival will be showcased and made available all weekend through a self-guided and free "U-Tour" attraction.  With a map in hand, visitors may leisurely drive at their own pace and visit the smallest and largest lavender farms located in the Lavender Capital of North America®.  Lavender themed gifts and fresh cut bouquets will be available for purchase.  As always, admission, advice and fragrance at the farms are FREE.  Additional regional attractions will be highlighted on the map.

The most community-spirited Lavender Festival Street Fair in this part of the world occurs on Fir Street.  Admission is FREE. Visitors will be surrounded by three days of continuous musical entertainment and greeted with the fragrance of the Sequim lavender brought to you by the local growers. A talented group of artists, jewelers, photographers and "craftsmiths" will showcase their products for purchase.  The Sequim Sunbonnet Sue will have their quilt show just around the corner at the Sequim Middle School.

Free parking and shuttle service for the Street Fair will be offered at convenient locations to accommodate every need.

Partnering with the city of Sequim for over 16 years in hosting the #1 lavender festival in this part of the world, and through the City's generous financial support, making Sequim, the Lavender Capital of North Ameria®, part of the Sequim Lavender Weekend.

The founders of the Sequim Lavender Festival began with a vision of rolling purple fields to replace fallow dairy pasture, restoring the agricultural base of the fertile Sequim Prairie. Since then, cultivation of lavender in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley has grown into a strong, environmentally sound, agri-business. Over 110,000 lavender plants are grown each year in the area. With its myriad uses beyond sheer fragrance - cosmetic, culinary, medicinal, craft, decorative - the magical herb has fostered dozens of small, creative ventures across the Olympic Peninsula and beyond.
